I’m planning to go on a cruise to mexico and was wondering if I need a visa? My country of citizen is NOT one of those who generally do not need a visa to Mexico but I am holding a US greencard (permanent residence). I called the rep @ cruise; she told me to call mexico embassy which I did and nobody returned my call. Anybody knows if passport and greencard would be sufficient for my travel?

I answered your previous question. i just now went back to look at the list of countries that do and do not need visas to visit Mexico and found something new. Under the list of countries that do NOT need a visa, it says,” this option also applies for permanent legal residents of the U.S. ” So you do NOT need a visa. See the website below and read the section just under the list of countries.
